Welcome to ARTWORKS!
I lead a Boulder, CO and Front Range-based art enrichment program designed to enhance artistic skills and inspire creativity. Throughout the year, students learn the fundamentals of art through drawing, painting, sculpture, collage, and mixed media. We provide engaging projects that develop skills and techniques and inspire the students. Each project is unique so there is always a finished piece to take home or saved for a special art show. Students learn to experiment, problem solve, build skills, and produce fantastic art creations.

Ms. Melissa has been leading our preschool art program this year, and it has been fantastic. She is prepared, creative, enthusiastic and amazing with children. Melissa's playful spirit compliments her strong class management mastery, and our children absolutely love participating in her art program. Melissa's class combines the elements of "free range" art, with direct instruction product art. She gives the children clear lessons, while encouraging them to be creative. Our students are learning not only new skills, but the confidence that comes with being able to create a design that they are proud of.
